"My name is Arianna Mickee and I am 27 years old. I am a
civil engineer working in Boston, MA and inspect bridges for the state. I have
always been overweight since I was a teenager and it often fluctuated. After I
started college, I gained some weight and was up to about 180- 190 lbs, which I
maintained for many years. I had lost some of this weight (about 10 lbs) over
the course of a year in 2010.
In May, I joined The Training Station to change
up my workout regime and have some fun. I not only was having fun, but I was
kicking butt while doing it! After two weeks, I started the Transitions program
through the gym to learn how to eat better and how to live on a
low glycemic index since both of my parents are diabetic. Between working
out and eating healthy, I lost 9 lbs and 5.5 inches off my body in the first
four weeks. After 8 weeks, I had lost over 14lbs and 8.75 inches total. I
haven't been the size I am today since I was 17 years old and my family and
friends have seen the dramatic difference overnight. Transitions has helped me
learn how to eat healthy and enjoy it. I feel great and know that as long as I
keep eating healthy and working out on a daily basis, I can achieve anything.

"Thank you for letting me share my story with you. I have been going to Fit to Be Toned at The Training Station for the last 4 months and I absolutly love it.
Being 59 I never dreamed that I could ever do kick boxing especially when there are things that are impossible for me to do based on my prior commitment to working out. Christina modifies it for me which still gives me a great work out and especially the confidence to make it happen.
With everyone in class so much younger I first felt nervious, but they were all very encouraging and hepfull, and for that I love them all.
Prior to Fit to Be Toned, I use to go to the gym and do my regular work outs..I loved it when I got started, but after a while I just got so bored and eventually quit.
It wasn't until I found to kick boxing and Christina...and I absolutly loved it; why: because each class was different and I loved the way it worked all the muscles. When I left there I felt that I had such a great work out, I was actually sweating and I actually felt the results from my workout. I can not get enough of kick boxing, and it has changed my attitude and I feel terrific!
