Art Buckholz’s Jiu-Jitsu lineage began in February of 2000. In November 2001, he received his Blue Belt from Master Royce Gracie, and in 2008, he received his Purple

Belt from Master Renzo Gracie. By 2015, he received his Brown Belt from Professor Rodrigo Gracie. Presently, he holds a 2nd degree Brown Belt under Professor Luigi Mondelli/ Kore BJJ.

Art is known by his students as an instructor who cares deeply about those he teaches and who is profoundly dedicated to the art and the skill of BJJ.

Art has participated in numerous competitions and has earned high praise and recognition.

2006 1st in a Ground Control Tournament Blue Belt division;

2007 2nd in the Renzo Gracie Invitational;

2009 2nd in GI and 3rd in NO-GI at the Renzo Gracie Invitational;

2010 2nd at the North East Championship Gracie Open in the GI Purple Belt

Division.

2011 1st in the Boston Open Ultra Heavy Weight GI, 2nd in the Open Weight division;

2013 3rd in the Tap Out Cancer Ultra Heavy Weight Advance GI;

2016 2nd in the Boston Open Ultra HeavyWeight Master GI;

2017 3rd in the Boston Open Ultra HeavyWeight Master GI.

Currently, Art is the Head Instructor of The Training Station/ Kore BJJ at The Training Station NH under the tutelage of Professor Luigi Mondelli - American Top Team Connecticut & Kore Martial Arts.
